Our garden has flourished over the summer. All the sowing, planting, weeding, pruning and watering paid off and we were able to harvest a great variety of tasty fruit and vegetables, including strawberries, raspberries, courgettes, radishes, turnips, beetroots, beans and tomatoes. They have all tasted delicious!
Click here for our newsletter for November. It sets out the tasks for this month and for the coming winter. There are still jobs to be done through the winter and importantly planning for spring.
We meet to garden on the first and third Wednesday of each month, 10.30am – 12noon followed by a well-deserved cup of tea. Come and join in or call in any time to sit in the garden and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere even if it is a bit chilly.
We are grateful to the Richmond Borough Civic Pride Fund for awarding us a grant to renew the raised beds and to the Mortlake with East Sheen Society for contributing to improvements and equipment.
The garden is open every day during daylight hours.
