After a successful and fruitful summer we are now bedding down for winter. The bamboo has gone, so has the banana tree. They both have merits but they cast too much shade on the beds for our vegetables. We are now looking forward to having more useable space next year.
Click here for our newsletter for more news. We shall meet on the first Wednesday 4 December, as usual 10.30am – 12noon, followed by a well-deserved cup of tea. We shall then have a break until Wednesday 19 February. But meanwhile do please go and see how the garden is looking and enjoy its peace and quiet.
We are grateful to the Richmond Borough Civic Pride Fund for awarding us a grant to renew the raised beds and to the Mortlake with East Sheen Society for contributing to improvements and equipment.
The garden is open every day during daylight hours.
